Abbreviated Therapeutic Use Exemption Forms (ATUE's)
This is important information for athletes who require medication for therapeutic use.
It is essential that you comply with WADA / ITU anti doping policy and follow the TUE procedures outlined at www.asada.gov.au
Of importance:
- If you are taking medication you need to check with sports/respiratory specialist - note this includes any asthma medication. An ATUE Form needs to be completed by Athlete and Doctor and forward to Triathlon Australia for recording.
- Check current prohibited list frequently as list can often change at www.asada.gov.au
- It is the athlete's responsibility to send ATUE forms to KAREN HIGGS - TA at:

- You should ensure that your ATUE has been received by TA office and recorded for reporting to ASADA.
- Your TUE needs to be updated annually ie - the ATUE is only valid for a one year period
