Queensland Academy of Sport Triathlon Program

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) Triathlon Program supports all elite triathletes in Queensland.  The program has enjoyed significant success at Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship levels since its inception in 1998.

Under the direction of the Head Coach, the program provides a challenging environment for talented athletes to train with past and future champions with the assistance of a dedicated support team.  The Head Coach is assisted by a network of coaches along with professional sports science and medical staff to provide athletes with cutting edge training tools.

The QAS provides full scholarships to elite U23 athletes who have demonstrated success at a National Level.  Additionally, the QAS supports the top senior athletes, either through an associate scholarship with the AIS or a direct athlete support scholarship with the individual.  All scholarships are highly competitive and performance expectations of QAS athletes are great.

Scholarships operate from July 1 to June 30 each year.
